24th Annual Spiedie Fest & Balloon Rally24th Annual Spiedie Fest & Balloon Rally
The Spiedie Fest and Balloon Rally is a community festival which features a packed weekend of food, fun, music and entertainment. Everything from concerts and celebrity appearances to the Spiedie Cooking Contest and hot air balloon flights speckle this packed weekend. More than 100,000 people pack Otsiningo Park each year for the premiere event of the summer. Celebrities, food vendors, music acts, crafters, non-profit organizations, and balloon crews from all over the globe participate, making our festival one of the most diverse of its kind.
Take part in our competitive sand volleyball tournament, The Kelly LaBare 5k run/walk or the Spiedie Cooking Contest that started it all. Truly a family event, kids are encouraged to stop by the Childrens Area for clowns, rides, games, crafts and fun! There are 5 scheduled balloon launches throughout the weekend (weather permitting), always at dawn and dusk. We are proud to tell you that profits from the festival are donated by the Spiedie Fest and Balloon Rally not-for-profit organization to a variety of local charities.
