Save money, energy, and improve comfort in your apartment!

Whether you rent or own an apartment building there are steps you can take to make that building more energy efficient and more comfortable!

*NOTICE*

The New York State Public Service Commission (PSC) authorized NYSERDA to continue administering the Multifamily Performance Program (MPP) with modifications starting July 1, 2010. This spring, DPS staff approved the revised operating plan. NYSERDA is currently finalizing the revisions to the program and will begin processing our applications back-log this summer. We plan on accepting new projects into the revised program this September. We will be posting the revisions to this site as they are developed. Thank you for your patience and interest. We look forward to serving you soon.

The MPP will also be offering services through the upcoming Green Jobs-Green New York Program.

Consider using window fans, particularly in the evening when you can draw cooler air into the house.

Make sure floor & wall vents are not blocked by draperies, furniture, or rugs.
